DENVER, CO., June 28, 2022 /PRNewswire/ MedGeo Ventures announced today a strategic partnership with Jackson Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest healthcare staffing organizations. A $4 million equity investment and joint venture agreement from Jackson will enable MedGeo’s veteran leadership team to partner with medical associations and replace their outdated job boards.
MedGeo is partnering with medical associations to implement a Zillow-like, map-based career exploration platform to better help their members find where they belong.
The interactive experience will put the association member at the heart of their career search, surrounding them with a comprehensive suite of data on virtually every relevant employer, and eliminating application friction by enabling members to connect with employers before they commit to submitting a CV.
What’s more, MedGeo will eliminate irrelevant and unwanted job search spam by allowing members to tailor employer alerts and notifications to suit their needs and interests, and support them with guidance from medical staffing experts on market trends, CVs, compensation expectations, and even employer introductions.
“This level of innovation isn’t possible in an existing company with legacy technologies, customers, and business lines,” says Justin MacLean, Chief Experience Officer at MedGeo. “We’ve been able to rethink association and member value from the ground up.”
“We’re thrilled to partner with Jackson Healthcare in our mission to empower associations and their members,” says Deanna Bassett, MedGeo CEO. “Jackson has been a reputable leader in the industry for decades. With this investment of capital, expertise, and services, we will be able to help medical associations compete and win. Winning translates to more value for members and additional revenue for associations.”
Jackson Physician Search President Tony Stajduhar adds, “We’re excited to partner with MedGeo because we share in the mission to ensure medical professionals are in a position to thrive and understand the critical role medical associations play as advocates for these providers.”
