DENVER (January 2, 2026) – MedGeo Ventures has partnered with the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) to relaunch the IDSA Career Center — an interactive, career discovery map designed to bring transparency, connection and belonging to the infectious diseases healthcare recruitment industry.

Since 2023, MedGeo has partnered with leading medical societies to modernize traditional job boards and help healthcare clinicians explore career paths, connect with employers, and advance their professional development at every stage through a more visual, data-driven experience.

As the industry’s leading association for infectious disease clinicians, scientists, and public health experts, IDSA brings a deep understanding of the field’s workforce challenges. The new platform features an intuitive map interface with profiles on all healthcare facilities across the United States that employ infectious diseases clinicians that is accessible to IDSA’s community of 13,000+ members worldwide.

“IDSA continues to lead the healthcare community in its commitment to addressing the most pressing challenges in infectious diseases through trusted clinical guidelines and deep scientific expertise,” says Deanna Bassett, Chief Executive Officer of MedGeo Ventures. “Beginning in January, this partnership will further strengthen our shared mission to connect more than 13,000 clinicians, scientists, and public health experts with opportunities that foster collaboration and a sense of belonging across the ID and HIV medicine community.”

In addition to IDSA, MedGeo’s expanding cohort of eight leading healthcare associations also includes the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST), the Urgent Care Association (UCA), American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA), and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM).

Through the IDSA Career Center, MedGeo will help IDSA deliver a more relevant experience by mapping the entire infectious-diseases ecosystem and featuring every employer in the field, whether actively hiring or not. Employers can showcase their entire organization, post open roles, and build future talent pipelines, while clinicians can explore every career opportunity tailored to their specialty and region to make confident connections, explore new paths, and find where they belong.

“Infectious diseases professionals play a vital role in maintaining healthy communities by advancing science, identifying, treating and protecting patients from infectious diseases,” says Ronald G. Nahass, MD, MHCM, FIDSA, President of IDSA. “Our collaboration with MedGeo ensures that these experts have access to career resources that match their commitment to innovation, readiness, and the health of communities everywhere.”

IDSA Career Center is now live at careercenter.idsociety.org
