DENVER (August 17, 2026)MedGeo Ventures has partnered with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) to launch AACAP JobSource — an interactive career discovery map designed to transform how career opportunities in child and adolescent psychiatry are discovered and filled.

The partnership arrives at a critical moment for the specialty. With demand for youth mental health services at an all-time high, employers face one of the most competitive recruitment environments in medicine. AACAP JobSource gives organizations a continuous presence within the AACAP community — making it easier to stay visible, showcase what makes them a compelling place to practice, and reach child and adolescent psychiatrists (CAPs) earlier in their career decision-making.

“Healthcare recruiting is no longer about filling a role; it’s about building a presence before one even opens,” says Kristina Yarrington, Chief Executive Officer of MedGeo Ventures. Child and adolescent psychiatry faces one of the most severe provider shortages in medicine. This partnership with AACAP enables employers to stay present, communicate what sets them apart, and connect with child and adolescent psychiatrists well before they enter the market.”

Within the platform, employers can highlight all of their locations with detailed multimedia profiles about their facilities, programs, technologies, and workplace culture, offering CAPs a clearer view into potential opportunities and practice environments, from academic medical centers and children’s hospitals to community mental health organizations and private practices.

For AACAP’s 11,000+ members, the experience extends beyond traditional job search tools. Instead of reacting to isolated postings, CAPs gain a continuous view of the market, allowing them to follow organizations, understand differences in practice environments, and engage with employers on their own timeline.

“This investment reflects our commitment to helping our members connect more effectively with employers in an increasingly competitive recruitment environment,” says Heidi Fordi, Executive Director and CEO at AACAP. AACAP JobSource is now live at jobsource.aacap.org. In addition to AACAP, MedGeo also powers the career platforms of 11 leading healthcare associations including the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI), the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST), the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), and the Urgent Care Association (UCA) alongside the Journal of Urgent Care Medicine (JUCM). The American College of Surgeons (ACS) launches in 2027.
